Abby is a ferret suffering from a disorder which the American domestic ferrets are prone to
and that is adrenal tumors. If the tumor remains untreated in the ferret it
will produce hormones detrimental to his health. Your help can offset the surgery cost and buy these poor ferrets a longer and healthier life by fostering, adopting, volunteering or
donations.
We are a no kill shelter with an en # 04-0003671 issued by the federal government for non profit exemption. We also have a New Jersey Charity permit CH2332200.
Please help us out to help out these ferrets. Our mission is to accept ferrets no matter what age or condition they are in. Your kindness will allow us to fulfill our mission and below
is our address.

I could show you many pictures of these poor ferrets and tell you many stories but the bottom line is that we sincerely need financing to help us pay for these ferrets that are no
longer wanted by their former owners because of age, illness or they just got tired of them.

Stripe
This poor ferret is suffering from adrenal distress (common in ferrets) as well as being both blind and having insulinoma but yet still we are not done with his disabilities as he also had a stroke
so instead of Stripe we sometimes call him "Ray", after Mr. Charles. The only food this ferret will eat is 5 oz. daily of Gerber's Turkey Baby Food. He is a very sweet ferret and loves when you hold him
and talk to him while he tucks his head under your chin. I refuse to chance surgery on this ferret but some financial help would really help with the bills we incur in support medication.
Just the Baby food alone runs us about $150.00 per month since ferret with stomach disorders more easily digest it and it is easily purchased and administered. A news flash but it appears
Stripe has a growth above his sightless right eye and he is still my guy.
You could buy a beautiful designer tee for a measly $16.00 plus shipping in small, medium or large which would help out a lot as shown in the picture but the person and
surroundings are not included.

All of us at the shelter would appreciate any type of help be it a donation or volunteering to help out in the shelter or even taking home a elderly or infirm ferret to give
him a little extra attention and we will pick up vet bills and the cage cost if you pick up the food costs. We also have a foster program whereas you can donate as little as $5.00 to help us out. I
have inserted an icon that will take you to PayPal where you can make a donation.
