Please note that although we do not charge an adoption fee for our older ferrets, please do not think of these as "free pets". We waive our fee because it is understood that;
        a) these guys will most likely have only 2-3 years left to live, and
        b) these guys are also most likely to be facing expensive surgery within that time frame. No pet is ever free and an older
            ferret is no exception.
